Can't think what that would have to do with the logs not being written to. Then again, I'm not sure if that's an error that would be written to the logs.
Is this a local template that you're trying to run, or are you scheduling the server to do an HTTPRequest of a page somewhere else? How are you specifying the URL in the Administrator's task scheduler?
