> What are the advantages of CF over PHP?

"tested on (far slower than 5) 4.5 Cf Server CF performs twice as fast
according to independent tests, supports clustering, array, structures. PHP
is a mix of influences, Perl, C, Java, ASP. It uses a mix of independent
API's for things such as database connectivity to mail etc, users have to
keep track/keep up with these changing API's. Integrated development tools
for PHP are scarce. PHP is Open Source though so cheaper than CF to develop
in, but from the article on front of me CF comes out on top with "ColdFusion
Server 4.5.1 is our top overall choice for script-based Web Application
development. It combines a rich API combined with the easiest programming
language and the best administration, performance monitoring, development
and debugging tools we tested. It also runs on several platforms and has
strong back-end connectivity."

"More information on our testing, including code and performance monitoring
details is posted at www.eweek.com/links"
