Good Idea. But I can't seem to get it to work. I'm using NT 4. I
created a new user to run the RDS under gave the user the rights to
"logon as service" and told the RDS service to use this account for
startup...blah blah blah. But the NT service GUI thingy keeps giving
me an error 2140. What permissions would this user need? Which
group? Obviously the administrators group works. But then that
defeats teh purpose.

the Cold Fusion RDS service runs under the Local System account by
default. You should be able to run it under a different account in
order to

restrict the drives/directories/files you can access via RDS.

BTW, if you have an SSL cert for the server, set studio to use it for
the
RDS connections.
