I have a CF5.0 Professional box on Winblows NT talking to Oracle 8i via Oracle's ODBC driver. Perhaps it is the ODBC driver? I usually install the Oracle client and then the Oracle ODBC drivers on the server to do this. The Oracle ODBC is installed via Oracles Installer thingy.

The ODBC driver connects successfully through the MS ODBC Admin and shows up in the CF Admin, but when I try to verify it the Cold Fusion service hangs. I've seen on another forum that the Linux version of CF 5.0 Professional does not support Oracle native or ODBC drivers. My suspicion is that the Windows version is similar to the Linux version. However, all I can confirm for the Windows version is that CF 5 Pro does not support native drivers. Does anyone have any ideas on this issue?
