I don't have an answer on the problems with ODBC, but only the Enterprise edtion of CF Server supports the native drivers; unless that has changed. The ODBC driver connects successfully through the MS ODBC Admin and shows up in the CF Admin, but when I try to verify it the Cold Fusion service hangs. I've seen on another forum that the Linux version of CF 5.0 Professional does not support Oracle native or ODBC drivers. My suspicion is that the Windows version is similar to the Linux version. However, all I can confirm for the Windows version is that CF 5 Pro does not support native drivers. Does anyone have any ideas on this issue?
