Cisco loadbalancer should have failover and the ability to time a
machine out if it is slow to respond, this will keep the load even on the
machines
  My personal experience with clustercats 4.5 is that it worthless. Basicly
using a hardware LB you really don't need to use clustercats.
    We use  Intel7185 for our cluster, with these you can configure them to
trap error pages from going to clients. For example if you get a CF error
page you can configure CF to return a 404page instead. The LB will catch
this and send the request to the next machine. So if we have a machine get
hosed it will not take the site down or break everything. Its pretty handy
to have this ability. Im not sure if Cisco has this ablitity though.
