It'll work fine for multiple users, as long as you've installed a multi-user version of CFMX. > What about mixing CF 5.0 and CFMX development environments > on the same server? That should work fine, as long as there's no significant load on the server. > At some point we will want to push the CFMX version to > see how it functions under load. The CFMX web server isn't designed for production use. > When we get to this point will we have to uninstall > CF 5.0 in order to switch CFMX from the stand-alone > server over to IIS 5.0? No, not necessarily. It's possible to use one IIS install with both CFMX and CF 5 simultaneously. To do this, you'd typically set up more than one virtual server in IIS, and have one of them support CFMX while the other one supports CF 5. I've got my laptop set up like this, with both IIS 5 and Apache 2. > Will CF 5.0 run with the stand-alone web server? No, it won't. > Your thoughts on how we should set up CF 5.0/MX on > this development server? I think you're on the right path. If you have any more specific questions, let me know.
