Hi.
What a nightmare of a weekend so far:)

The server refused to boot at all, so I had to make the trip out to the
co-location isp (about 1 1/2 hours away from here)...
I get there, and I get an error: no boot device found.. so I figure it
is a hard drive. I had mirrored drives, so I figure I am ok.. just break
the mirror and boot from the other drive.. well to make an extremely long
12 hour story short - it wasn't the drive. It couldn't boot from either of
the drives, so I bought a new drive, installed it, got it working,
installed windows / cf / etc... thought I had it and was about to leave,
and it died again. Turns out it is either the drive controller or the
motherboard. At that point, I gave up and just went out to the local
computer store and bought a new server.

I figured since it was down for 24 hours anyway, might as well take this
opportunity to upgrade to cf mx.
I finally get the sites up, but now all of my old verity code doesn't
seem to be working..
are there any tricks for that?
Also - I read something about a script to compile all of the .cfm files
so there isn't a long dealy.. anyone know where that is,

and lastly - does cfmx have to be restarted every night like the old
versions? Of is that problem fixed?

thanks for the help - sorry to waste your time with the thoughts on denial
of service attacks. By the way - the original drives were fine and no data
was lost!
Al
