Thanks. It was an HTTP call. A friend helped me realize the obvious. . .The cfm file that I was scheduling calls a cgi variable that needs to stay alive (I'm scheduling this to create a static html file) so it was my oversight. This page simply won't work as a static html file.
thanks again -----Original Message----- From: David Hannum [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, June 12, 2003 1:40 PM To: CF-Server Subject: Re: CF5 Scheduled Tasks don't run on Schedule Are you running it as an HTTP call? Are you checking the CF logs or Web Server logs? Check your web server logs just to make sure. Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Droddy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Server" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, June 12, 2003 12:12 PM Subject: CF5 Scheduled Tasks don't run on Schedule I'm running CF5 on RHLinux 7.2. I have A scheduled task set up to run "Recurring Daily at 00:02:00." All it is doing is generating a static html page from a cfm template. When I test the scheduled task, it runs just fine and the generated file is produced and all is well. When I check my logs at a later date, I find that that scheduled event is NOT running on schedule. I was not able to find anything in Macromedia's Knowledge Base on this in CF5. Any ideas/suggestions/questions?
