Not yet... Theres really only one CF Site on that server... I replaced
the static .cfm page that was the index page with a .htm file to get
round the initial problem.  Going a directory deep into that site (which
is dynamic) serves the correct files.

So we are currently going to leave the server as is until we have to put
a site on there that needs a root index.cfm file

Sorry I cant be of much more help :(

As a side note, the dev servers we have running don't suffer from this
problem, so as longs as you test, test and test again you *shouldn't*
have this problem.  The server in question we are having the
difficulties has been running beta software aswell so its just possible
CF has its knickers in a twist.
