Thanks for your suggestions.
I saw that as well about name-based virtual hosting with SSL. It is working for non-cf pages, so I'm wondering if this is not actually the problem.  A consultant worked with us on building/enabling SSL & I've written him to ask if that may be part of the problem, though I'm skeptical.

Our config file matches yours pretty well (except a missing +eNULL statement at the end of the CipherSuite attribute).
