We've got 11 production servers using CFMX 6.1 5 are windows and 6 are linux. The windows boxes need rebooting occasionally and often coldfuiosn will hang to a point that only a reboot will fix it.
Interesting stats from the linux boxes: 4:52pm up 114 days, 7:39, 4 users, load average: 0.02, 0.02, 0.00 4:53pm up 290 days, 2:12, 1 user load average: 0.90, 0.61, 0.11 4:53pm up 357 days, 4:44, 1 user, load average: 0.06, 0.06, 0.02 4:52pm up 540 days, 12:31, 1 user, load average: 0.15, 0.06, 0.01 4:52pm up 374 days, 4:10, 4 users, load average: 0.11, 0.08, 0.15 4:52pm up 736 days, 1:09, 2 users, load average: 0.00, 0.05, 0.00 None of our windows boxes (win 2000 server) have made it over 120 days. For a well trained administrator, the Linux boxes are much easier to admin. We often run into other odd issues where after installing a third party ap on windows that affects IIS, coldfusion gets all wacked out and all pages render some strange number. You have to manually recreate the virt host and kick the box.
