We have a CFMX 6.1 server running on Win2K3 IIS 6 with all the patches on
everything. On this server, there is a CF mapping to a directory that sits
outside the web root, that houses our security scripts. These scripts get
called through the browser, and everything works fine.

We are setting up a new CFMX 7 server with the same Win2K3 IIS 6 setup. We
have done everything the same (at least we believe we have) yet the mappings
do not work consistently. For some reason, the MX 7 server gives a CF error
telling us the file is not found. The file is there, and everything works
if you put a virtual directory in IIS for this directory. However, since
only .cfm pages are being served, a virt dir in IIS should not be
necessary - as in the case on the MX 6.1 box.

Does anybody have any insight into this issue?

Thanks,
Dave
