Hello,

First allow me to begin by stating I am new to the administration side of Cold
Fusion. Within the last 3-4 weeks, we've been experiencing frequent problems
with websites not functioning particularly those running Cold Fusion. It was
identified that both IIS and Cold Fusion MX require restarting only after we
typically reboot the server. This has occured approximately every 3-4 days.
It was mentioned that it might be "bad code" written in one of the websites
that is then causing a confilict with IIS. If this is the case, do you know of
any way to identify and locate which website and which page of the site could
be causing the problem? We have also checked the Cold Fusion Administrator but
for some reason many of the areas of Administrator on the left hand side and
top navigation are also not available even upon a fresh reboot. We were
hoping the the Debugging section of the Cold Fusion Administrator might help us
here in isolating the problem.

We tried the performance monitor in Cold Fusion but it didn't appear to be
showing anything.

We have also looked a the Event Viewer logs in IIS under "Applications" and
noticed several errors but specifically we're not sure if this has anything to
do with the problems encountered.
"The data buffer created for the "ColdFusion MX Application Server" service in
the "C:\WINNT\system32\cfperfmon_mx.dll" library is not aligned on an 8-byte
boundary. This may cause problems for applications that are trying to read the
performance data buffer. Contact the manufacturer of this library or service to
have this problem corrected or to get a newer version of this library."

We are humbly requesting any and all assistance you can provide. We plan on
purchasing the new version upgrade to Cold Fusion and should you recommend that
this solve the problem we move to this immediately but need assistance in the
meantime. Please advise.

Thank you in advance,

Sifu Shawn
