Ok. I applied that patch, restarted the service and got past the 
300mb upload limit with a 425mb file, but got the 500 Null on an 
850mb file, (and a blank screen on a 1.7gb file) so...

I tried the HTML-only test with a 1.7 gb file and got an "Incorrect 
function" error in the browser.

Maybe I'll try the 7.1 updater and see if that helps. It does have a 
new 'limit' config in the Administrator, but no one at Macromedia can 
tell me what the maximum limit can be.
