Thanks very much - I will do as you suggest, but I have to admit that having to
substantially re-install an entire operating system the size of Windows 2000
because of what appears to be a rogue application installation process, is not
exactly what one might have expected.
I assume that the CF install is trying to enforce its own version of MDAC or
components thereof, which breaks the MDAC 2.5 RTM which comes with Windows 2000,
and is therefore a hostile installation which Allaire should deal with without
delay. I am sure I this could become a big problem if not dealt with!
