Yes yes yes! Get BF's CF4.0 Book. It is THE standard reference -
particularly for learning CF. By the by, he is not planning to write a new
book for 4.5 [Or so I read here on CF-Talk from a poster who called himself
"Ben Forta" :-)]
While you are at it you might want to get his Advanced CF4.0 book as well -
so you can really tear it up!

Subject: Newbie Forta Question
I'm just getting started with CF. I have built simple queries in CF, but
basically have just touched the surface of it's capabilities. I am
wondering if I should go ahead and purchase Forta's 4.0 Web Application
Construction Kit, or if anyone has heard of a newer version for 4.5. I have
worked in 4.0 and 4.5 and haven't noticed any extreme differences so I just
wanted some advice regarding my purchase. I would love any insight!
