I would actually suggest that the Mastering ColdFusion Book by Danesh is
also worth reading. They have very different approaches to writing about CF.
I've got friends who I've lent both books to who have stated that the Danesh
book is easier going if you are starting out.
The Forta books approach subjects in a much more thorough sectioned way
though and I use them as a reference when I need to examine an aspect of CF.
I do not look at the Danesh book anymore.
I would suggest though that any book on CF is worthwhile purchasing. The
Danesh book is good 'course' book, whereas I feel the Forta books are
essential reference books.
