Installing to drive D will not be a problem. I have it installed on drive D
at home. But you probably need to install some components to wherever your
wwwroot folder is. It is possible that your wwwroot is on C and the
components that have to be installed there are larger than the amount of
available space. I really don't know enough about your configuration or
about the necessity of file location to say whether or not this is a
problem, but it could be.

Keep in mind that the amount of disk space necessary to install is larger
than the amount of disk space needed by the program. I have also had this
problem when the installer automatically unpacks to drive c for
installation to a different drive. In the end, the space on drive c is
reclaimed, but it can cause installation problems if the unpacking can't be
done. I haven't installed in a long time, but watch the installation
process and see if drive c is used for anything before you get the error
message.
