There's a tag or 2 in the gallery to do this with ascii files.
So after Verity identifies a document with hits, you process
it right before you display it.
I had a developer modify his tag to put a link to all "hit words"
at the top of the doc so you could jump to them from the top,
and 2 links at each hit word so you could easily jump to the
previous and next "hit word".
Obviously, even though I paid him to enhace his tag, I'm not at
liberty to distribute his work product. But he's on this list
and can respond if he's so-inclined.
