Connecting to an instance you have to do two things: 1) Make sure the RDBMS is running SP2. 2) Specify not only the machine name/IP address, BUT ALSO THE PORT of the SQL Server in the CF Admin. Machines running instances of SQL Server have each one running on a port different to the default.... so you've got to specify it.

All of the connection info is correct. Judging by the sheer number of posts in the forumn at macromedia.com, I assume that this is not a "1 user" configuration problem.
