I picked a different file (23k) and it took around 300ms every time. Interesting that a file only slightly bigger took about twice the time. Hmm, I tried a 93k file and it took around 13,000ms. O(n^2). Not entirely surprising given the algorithm (it has to move ~n characters ~n times).
