Aha! The brass comes out. :) Yea, you're right... I'm sure there was a rationalle for IsNumeric() validating integers... I guess then there is a case for using REGex in a function to do this... IsFloat() :) Interrestingly enough, a quick search of cflib.org reveals an IsInt() function, but no IsFloat() ... hmmm...
