I'm all for it. I've done ICQ lectures in the past on different subjects and it worked 
out rather well. I'd suggest that we pull MM into this in a few ways for our (and 
their) benefit. Lets say that we make use of the flash communication server. They set 
it up and advertise it. Someone is scheduled to speak and everyone profits. 
MM for showing off their technology and supporting the effort.
The speaker for giving a good lecture.
The listeners who will learn from the whole thing. 
Problems:
Good speakers (not a real problem, but...)
Stepping on the toes of user groups and other events at the same time
Timing that most (but not all) would agree on.
Bandwidth
If all of these issues are handled and a format can be arrived at then I think its a 
fantastic idea.
