Yeah, OK, you win! Verity won't run because there is no Java version or Mac C version. But. you probably can interface Glimpse which does most of what Verity does (no stemming, though). But I really don't think that not having Verity is a show stopper -- Most CF sites are dynamic (a least a large extent) so content is in the database. the power of CF queries and caching allows a pretty good text search capability without Verity.
