Well you are of course welcome to have that opinion, but that doesn't really help this thread. IMHO, it is better to think of CF as a typeless language with structs, arrays, and queries being special cases.
Whether you agree or not, I stand by my position that adding method overloading to CF would be a disaster. BTW, none of these special cases --structs, arrays, and queries-- need to be specified at declaration.
