we are to develop a Point Of Sale (POS) system and I was wondering if CF can be the right tool to do that. There would be about 70 POS units pulling the data from the same database for inventory and accounting purposes. Of course, this system has to be fast and the sale has to be done very quickly (not like most of the e-commerce websites with shopping cart etc...).
Has anyone developped such a system using CF? Are there any reasons why I shouldn't use or could use CF?
