I don't know of anyone that publishes this. I would also have to question the accuracy of the info. (Timeliness, refresh period, data accuracy)
Also, what taxonomy rules are you going to use to build this tree? Who a person/group is funded through? Reports to? Does an object appear only once on a tree? I'd love to see the list if/when you build it, though. I've added a couple of links below that at least enumerate some of this, and supply website links that might provide more. Good luck, and let us know what you find. Jerry Johnson >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 09/19/02 02:52PM >>> Does anyone know of a source for a nested federal government data list? I would also be looking for states also. I am looking to be able to drill down into the data to eventually get to the individual in that position. example: http://bp.fed.gov/ http://www.findlaw.com/10fedgov/ Government -Federal --Executive http://www.loc.gov/global/executive/fed.html ---Cabinet ----Secretary of Agriculture ----Secretary of Commerce ----Secretary of Defense -----Donald Rumsfeld --Legislative --Judicial - Canada - http://canada.gc.ca/depts/major/depind_e.html Dan ----------------------------------------- Dan O'Keefe TriPoint Technologies 954.501.3115 ______________________________________________________________________ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
