Kev, just be warned that with CFMX (lovely that it is) has been built from the ground up and that CFX's currently available are not guaranteed to work.
Your best bet in the meantime is to grab the Macromedia ColdFusion MX "Developer Edition" and test your applications with it before committing to it. You can run CF5/MX concurrently but I think you would be better off using a separate installation (closer to real life so to speak).
