Everything I've done works well on 4.01 and 4.5. There are simply far too many servers still running 4.0 and 4.5 to forget about them. I'd venture to say there are FAR more servers running 4.5 than 5.0. At least that's my experience. 3 out of 4 of the clients that hire me for freelance are running 4.5. The rest 5.0 with an occasional 4.01. I have yet to do any actual work on MX. My guess would be that the cfhttp debacle is one of the main reasons. I know I would have upgraded long ago if not for that. I didn't upgrade from 4.01 to 4.5 until SP2 was released and they addressed the cfhttp issues. It's simply too important of a tool to leave broken in ANY version. I don't see how they can rightfully ignore version 5 at this point. It's basically the last stable release. If I owned it I'd be calling MM every day and screaming until they fixed it. MX still has a way to get to before it's ready for production. Macromedia, fix cfhttp and you'll likely get a double upgrade from me. I'll purchase 5.0 now and eventually MX when it's stable. -- Bud Schneehagen - Tropical Web Creations _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ ColdFusion Solutions / eCommerce Development [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.twcreations.com/ 954.721.3452 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_talk FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm
