Judging by the error message, I'd say that either the server is too busy to handle the request or there's an error in the code. Or, the CFHTTP was coded incorrectly. Care to post some of the code (specifically, your CFHTTP code and the code of the page that CFHTTP is hitting) so we could take a closer look?
