They are stored in the registry, but you should be able to remove them from the UI.
Have you tried removing the RDS server in the Macromedia FTP & RDS subtree in the files tab? Go to the files 1 or 2 tab, drill down to Macromedia FTP & RDS, and RMB over the RDS server and select the "Delete Server" option.
