Good question. I can think of a few instances. Maybe you don't have your serial number handy and you need it quickly (without getting up and slogging 2 feet over to the filing cabinet, bookshelf, etc.) because you are re-installing the software (most likely CFMX ;). Maybe you are a partner using the NFR version and are installing it in your organization on more than one server. Umm, hmm... I don't remember if THAT'S legal -- but I only have one copy of it installed on my local Windows 2k Server at home, anyway. I must read the license agreement again! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_talk FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm
