What version of WebAuthorize are you using? I've been using 1.3 running
on Windows 2k for over 2 years now - and yes, you DO have to have the
entire DevKit on the server for some reason.

I'd be interested in exchanging some knowledge here - perhaps off-list
would be best?

I'm having an issue with the server rebooting on a shared server - when
the system comes back up WebAuth doesn't - you have to manually enter a
password ... Do you know a way around this?

Subject: COM error with WebAuthorize ActiveX control

Well, on a lark I decided to install the entire DevKit on the server.
(Previously, I'd simply used REGSVR32.EXE on AuthCtl.ocx to register the
control as the documentation suggested I could.)

Now all seems to be working.

I don't think I've ever seen lousier documentation for such expensive
software. If it wasn't a corporate mandate I would have dumped it long
ago. But (surprise!) it was the cheapest solution available.

Thanks all for your help.
