Thanks, Jochem, thats very helpful. I'll try adding the tags. From what I saw in RFC 2557 they don't mention any sort of doctype in the one start-to-finish example they show, so I'll leave it out.
Also -- and I hadn't thought of this until you mentioned it yourself -- inserting <html>, <body> etc. into a message as you mentioned has a tendency to freak out at least some web mail systems. The page itself is already an established html document with its own <html> etc. already declared... and I can't help but think inserting </body></html> into the middle of a page may produce negative results. My HKSI/Imail web mail system suffers from this, so I may be causing web mail users problems. We'll see. --Matt-- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Your ad could be here.
