This is from Neil Giarratana's presentation at CF-North (IniNet, Inc).
import java.io.*;
import org.apache.fop.apps.Driver;
import org.xml.sax.InputSource;
public class PDFGenerator
{
public void createPDF(String foFile) throws
FileNotFoundException, java.io.IOException,
org.apache.fop.apps.FOPException
{
StringReader s = new StringReader(foFile);
FileOutputStream out = new
FileOutputStream("c:\\mypdf.pdf");
Driver driver = new Driver(new InputSource(s),out);
driver.setRenderer(Driver.RENDER_PDF);
driver.run();
out.close();
}
}
You'll want to replace the hard coded output file with a parameter so
it's more reusable.
Good luck!
