Thanks for the pointer, unfortunately the current project is on a server that doesn't allow me add any class or jar file. That's actually while I am stumped, since I can't create a simple Java class to do the job and call it from CFML and I am forced to do everything with plain CFML. Anyway, your suggestion looks interesting and I will definitely investigate it.
