Yes, because I am on a server (shared hosting) where I can instantiate Java objects using <cfobjects> but I can't use my own class files > All he needs to do is modify that Java Class to handle "null" as strings and > convert them to Java null I can't modify the Java Class, I have to use plain vanilla CFML and what the JRE 1.3 can provide. I am not using my own classes (am not allowed) and can't write a wrapper Maybe I could figure out an alternative digging JRE 1.3's docs better, but I guess the issue may arise in different scenarios Massimo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com
