ReReplace

I am taking information from a database and using cffile and appending the
info.  My problem, some of the information contains html to format the text
on the screen.  But, in the Excel file that is appended, I do not need the
html, therefore it needs to be taken out.  I would assume I use ReRlace, but
I am unsure of the reg_expression that I would use.  Anyone have any ideas?
