I believe the original font was called Russell Square. It was designed
in 1973 by John Russell for, what was then, Linotype, and named after a
London neighborhood.

Try searching Google, there were lots of hits.

Anyone know where I can get hold of this very distinct font? Called
"shoestring" it is quite distinct. Very modern - very "The Matrix"
like.

Thanks!
