Scott, Generator is no longer a supported solution. It has been replaced with the MX platform, and in particular, Flash Remoting, which allows Flash movies to communicate with either a ColdFusion, Java or .NET back-end. You might want to take a look at the tutorials below. They demonstrate several Flash Remoting techniques:
