The last thing I want to do today is enter into a debate that will never
go anywhere, but...
As much as I HATE to support it, I have to give MS Access at least a
LITTLE credit. I helped set up an Access driven website
(www.milestoneideas.com) in ASP about 5 years ago. I have never had any
problems with it, because we knew going into this what Access' inherit
problems were. That was 5 years ago. I always recommend SQL Server 2000,
and if a company complains about money then I recommend mySQL. However,
when the situation calls for it, I will muster up the courage to use
Access, as long as it's not for mission critical web apps. Access is a
database... You can connect using ODBC... It is relational... It is
cheap... It can work perfectly with a little patience and ingenuity. I
still won't recommend it, but I know I can use it (and you all can too
:-)

Cheers,
Gary Sullivan

Being that I have mostly developed apps on MS SQL or Sybase, I am
getting ready to embark an quite a large application using MS Access. My
question is this, can you use joins at all in Access? I have written
quite a few access apps, but nothing complicated enough to need any
joins in the SQL. Thanks!
