This is a very common problem with hosting companies with a number of
solutions posted.  Generally, I'd say it's the hosting company's
responsibility to fix it and if that's their reaction then you should
get a new host.

However, you should be able to fix it yourself by creating a
CFIDE/scripts directory off of your virtual root and copying the cfform
javascript file to that directory.

This is the response to my question about why this is not working from
the hosting company:

" The only issue I could see regarding the CFFORM problem would be that
you need a CFIDE Mapping"


Have any of you ever heard of this? I mean I have never had CFFORM not
work for simple required fields in CFINPUT.
