This is a very common problem with hosting companies with a number of solutions posted. Generally, I'd say it's the hosting company's responsibility to fix it and if that's their reaction then you should get a new host.
However, you should be able to fix it yourself by creating a CFIDE/scripts directory off of your virtual root and copying the cfform javascript file to that directory.
