Yeah, that would be nice. Similar to the way cfchart outputs dynamic Flash, a datagrid component built in Flash that's abstracted by CFML would be perfect.
Something else that would be cool would be a "tabbed pallette" Flash component that would contain a box for HTML/CFML data - just be able to assign title, size and HTML content for each tab. Datagrid is a little slow compared to many expectations, but it's very configurable (i.e., you can leave out features you don't need to speed things up). What would be really nice is to have a CF wrapper to a datagrid.swf to completely replace cfgrid without any flash programming (other than the pre-built swf).
