A long time ago, I made a really stupid mistake that results in deletion of all data from a table... almost embarrassed to admit this in public, but it might apply here. There was an admin page with a list of all of the records in the table, along with a link to delete or edit each item. The entire website was an intranet and required authentication.. Anyway, the first time we ran a link checker, it of course hit all of the delete links and cleared out the database. I learned my lesson!
