You don't say what version of CF or what platform, but our experience with
CFMX/J2EE for JRun on Solaris is that the 1.4.1_01 just wouldn't work.
Neither the 32-bit or 64-bit versions. 

I loaded the 1.3.1_06 and it was fine.
