Yeah I just looked at quanta now, and it looks pretty nice, I will have to
try jedit.

I don't think you'll find anything with quite the range of CF Studio/DWMX as
of yet (maybe MM will throw a bone to all of us X users someday), but jEdit
is an excellent editor, and can work nicely with ColdFusion syntax.  Here's
some more information regarding that:

Also, Quanta is a pretty impressive editor that's included with most
distributions - that might serve you nicely as well.
