It's a shared server so it's one of those situations where it might be our code or it might be someone else's or it might be a more fundamental problem. I suspect it relates to the updater 2. It's running a few instances of our CMS (which are all running the same set of code) and a few other sites not ours. We don't have direct log access, just bits the hosting company forward to us. Frustrating as we haven't seen anything like it on our development server. :-(
