I sorta asked this before, but don't' think I made the problem clear... I've got a medium size site that has a lot of redundant content (services descriptions that appear on any number of pages). The service description content is contained in an include for each service, so I don't have to repeat that content all over the site.
Site folder structure is set up like 1. Master Display Pages 2. Includes Problem - Need to set up a search for the site. I only want to index the Master Display Pages, but need a way to also have it track the content of the includes that are on each page and, uh, include that content as part of that page in the results of a search. So, if one include is "incineration services", and it's contained in six of the Master Display Pages, those six Master pages need to come up when I do a search. I do NOT want to index the "Includes" folder, because those are incomplete files and can't be used by themselves in the results of a search. Ideas? I'm fully capable of confusing even myself at times.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
