The appeal of Vegas or Florida is that most people can enjoy the warm 
weather and there is plenty to do  - even on a tight Govt' per diem. Plus, 
there are no cheap direct flights from DC. Also, why have it mid-week, 
which removes the "stay saturday" discount, and have it so close to 
Thanksgiving?!

I was excited about San Diego. Damn.
